About

During the last 6 years I have accumulated a plethora of different figures and movies, visualizing different kinds of protein structures. This is basically a playground for me, where I get to collect the stuff I like and remind myself about how I made the stuff I like. It will mostly be about PyMol I guess, but everything goes.

Despite the name this site has nothing to do with art nor do I pretend that what I do is art. Honestly I was just being lazy when I had to come up with a name for my site and molecularvisualization.dk seemed stupid so I went with molecularart.dk. It may change if I ever find a more suitable name.

  1. Hello! Thank you for creating and sharing these images. I am a biomedical animator working on a complement activation animation featuring the accurate proteins used in each pathway. I am working with PDB models. Would you be able to share the PDB ids of the proteins features in your Lectin pathway and Classical pathway illustrations? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Good luck in your work.
    Sincerely,
    Veronica
